Summer has officially kicked off and today I’m super excited to share with you my summer home tour. I’ve teamed up with a TON of amazing bloggers, Birch Lane and Country Living Magazine to bring you one heck of a summer tour roundup.

I first have to give a shout out to Nina from who worked her butt off to throw together this incredible round up. With a combined 29 bloggers, you gotta admit this is one amazing tour!

For those of you who are new here, welcome! Today’s tour is all about my husband and I’s loft, but we’re about to move into a 1922 historic home, so make sure to check it out here! You can also see some of my past home tours here and here.

My living room is the first stop. With tall ceilings, massive windows, and natural lighting beyond belief, this space is everything I could ask for and more. It’s the most urban home I’ve ever lived in, but I love it! You can check out my full living room reveal here or watch the video here.

Birch Lane provided me with a gift card for this tour, but all opinions are my own.

One of my favorite nooks in the loft is this quaint corner I’ve thrown together for little Hudson. Since our house won’t be ready to move into until after he’s born, I created a small space for him in the loft for when he arrives. To see the full post and video, click here.

I also recently posted about my latest kitchen update. Our kitchen isn’t 100% my style, (because as you may or may not know, I’m obsessed with the coastal look) but I was able to add my own touch by incorporating some simple decor items. Since I’m not the best person at keeping any plants alive, I like to keep a lot of faux florals around my home. This trio from Birch Lane makes all the difference in my kitchen. I love them because they are perfect as a set, but can also be moved around as well.

I also fell head over heels when I found these faux hydrangea botanicals. They come in a clear glass vase with what looks like water filling up the bottom. I loved them so much that I bought three!! I’ve placed them all over the loft and love how they freshen up the space. And oh yeah, they never die either. Now that’s a plant I can live with!

The dining room is the last stop in today’s tour. Since a loft can sometimes feel more masculine and urban, I really enjoyed giving this space a more girly vibe. Pink hues and florals were a must! And remember those faux hydrangeas I was talking about earlier? Yupp – you will find them here as well!

Well I sure hope you enjoyed today’s tour! Don’t forget to visit Country Living Magazine to see more summer decorating ideas and check out the rest of the tours below.

The Blissful Bee

Thank you for stopping by The Blissful Bee! I'm Amy and I'm the writer and designer behind the blog. I have a passion for interior design, fashion and simply living a stylish life. I hope you enjoy your "stay"!

  1. Absolutely gorgeous, Amy! I love everything you’ve done, and it’s a beautiful space to welcome Hudson home to. I can’t wait to see how you decorate your new home, I know it will be just as perfect. Thank you so much for joining me on this tour! xx

  2. Your home is beautiful! Seems home maintenance is perfect and the interior furnishing is more than splendid! Not sure why you would want to move out, although your new house seems more than beautiful or at least for what I could see from your exterior photos. My personal favorite here is the kitchen (maybe because I’m a handyman). I enjoy the lack of excessive cluttering of furniture and etc. Stylish and cosy.
    Kind regards!
