Ok, so maybe this isn’t really a deep dark secret, but when I discovered it, I felt like I was totally in the dark! What am I speaking of you might be wondering?? Well, a few months ago when I was doing some extensive Ikea research for our new Ikea couch, I ran into the most amazing website EVER. Yes, that’s right, I said EVER.
Again, this might be one of those deals where I’m late to the party and everyone already knows about it, but either way, I feel compelled to share my recent discovery with you all. Ok… get ready… Are you ready? Ok cool. here it goes… A company called Bemz makes HUNDREDS of different slipcovers SPECIFICALLY for Ikea couches. HUNDREDS!!!! Like I’m talking too many options to even know what to do with.
I know I might be acting a bit dramatic about a few slipcovers, but I really don’t think you all can understand my excitement. I mean, it’s not like they just have a lot of average looking slipcovers. These slipcovers look like they are designer pieces (if that’s even possible for a slipcover to look “designer”). I mean really, these things are beautiful. Just simply stunning.
Although I plan on keeping my Ikea slipcover for many more years, when it comes the time to switch it out, I know exactly where I’m going. They are a bit more expensive than the typical Ikea options, but you will see why when you look at the photos.
Okie dokie, so now that the cats out of the bag, I think I’ll share some lovely photos with you all. Because just writing about these beautiful slipcovers just doesn’t do them justice.
^^ Doesn’t this one remind you a bit of Restoration Hardware??
^^ And this one reminds me a bit of Ballard Designs.
^^ And here we’ve got a bit of shabby chic for all you Country Cottage lovers…
And just look at all those fabric swatches! I just want to roll around in them!
… Did I take it too far? Maybe? Ok sorry. Got a little lost in slipcover heaven over here. Anyways, as you can see, I’m kind of loving all of their styles and swatches. They seriously have so much to offer! I haven’t ordered anything from them yet, but I’d love to hear from you if you have. The story of how it all started is pretty cool too.
