Hope everyone has been having a wonderful weekend so far! We’ve been trying to stay warm while a huge ice storm has swept over north Texas. I really can’t complain though because it’s been SO  beautiful! It looks like a winter wonderland over here! It might only be ice, but I feel like I’m 5 years old again and Santa just made my snow wish come true. Because yes… every year I asked for snow… and of course a kitten.

I’ll try to spare you the billion Bailey pictures I took this weekend, but I do need to share a few pictures of the stunning scenery we’ve been experiencing over here. I seriously can’t get over it!

As you can see, I let Bailey out of the house to explore the ice. She loved it! Although I must say, I think she also loves being bundled up inside with us:) We’ve been getting a little stir crazy over here (aka I didn’t go to the store before the storm hit and we’ve been eating a lot of ground beef), but thankfully I was able to get a lot done around the house over the icy weekend. I’ve also got a lot of fun posts coming up so make sure to stay tuned for more Christmas crafts! Also, if you haven’t checked out my holiday home tour, make sure to visit it [here].

    Gorgeous Amy! I love snow!
Bailey’s photos are stunning. My kitties aren’t so sure of the snow and hate it on their paws when they go outside into their enclosure.

Thanks Julia! Thankfully it was just ice out there, so she didn’t sink in or anything. I was pretty surprised she liked it too. She’s been wanting to go back out ever since!

  2. Bailey is adorable in the snow! Oliver keeps meowing at the door to go out, but the second he gets out he wants to come right back in!

Yeah I was really shocked she liked it! But yes, any loud noise she hears she runs to the door and wants to come back in. It’s really funny!

We think she’s a mix between a Tabby and a Main Coon! We adopted her when she was a little baby, so we’re not 100% sure:)

Ok, so do you live in Arlington Heights? Looks like my neighborhood…
