Since we just moved, I’m sill in the unpacking stages. Unfortunately I’m not as organized as I would like to be in the new house, so today my “Organize Me Pretty” home tour will be a mix of a few different spaces I’ve designed in the past and some updates on the new house.

I first want to start with one of my favorite spaces from our old rental. Our home office was pretty much my favorite space in the whole house. We didn’t have a ton of closet space (or any storage actually), so using things like vintage lockers and baskets were my solution.

Another one of my biggest storage challenges was our bathroom from the old house. We only had one bathroom and it was pretty small. After picking up a $40 storage unit from my local Target, my life was changed!

Another cute little space that I put together is a play area at my parents house for my two nieces and nephew. We tend to hang out in my parents living room when they have us all over, so we’ll either put down a large blanket over the rug, or play at this play table. It’s perfect for the kiddos – they love it!

I’ve also been working on a few spaces in the new house and ATTEMPTING to get organized. Here are a few sneak peeks of my favorite spaces so far!

And here is the start of our kitchen makeover. I finished painting the bottom cabinets over the weekend and LOVE them so far! My next step is to paint the uppers and I’m hoping for that to happen next weekend.

Well thats it for todays home tour! Make sure to check out all of the other home tours that have happened over the last week. Our series goes through the rest of this week, so there will be even more inspiration knocking at your door, so don’t miss it!

  1. I don’t have a whole lot of storage space either, but I do love that you use vintage baskets and more as open storage! You’ve made it even more beautiful than having a closet space would be!

  2. I love the office and bathroom organization. What a difference well styled shelves make! Your spaces have such pretty accessories and a warm feeling. Thanks for sharing with us.

  3. It’s always great to move into a “new” house and I am sure you have lots of plans:-) Can’t wait to see how your kitchen will turn out! Have a great week!Xo
