Today we’re throwing it back a bit with my front porch from my little rental. You might remember my Instagram sneak peek a few weeks ago and I’m super excited to show you the full reveal. I’m teaming up with Wayfair in this makeover and they’ve challenged me to add some curb appeal to our home. In our old rental, we were’t able to make any changes to the structure of the home, so I relied heavily on the decorating side of things. If I wanted to spruce up my porch, the only way I could do so was with furniture and decor.
In my design plan, my first thought was that I needed to choose at least 1-2 statement pieces in the makeover. When I spotted 2 beautiful barrel chairs on MAJOR SALE on Wayfair’s Daily Sales page, I knew they just had to be mine. They’re large enough to be seen from the street, which was a major factor in the overall curb appeal challenge, and I loved how versatile they were. At the time of this makeover, I knew I would be moving soon, so the thought of using these chairs in our future house (either indoors or out) was a big plus for me. (note: If they’re outdoors, I would suggest they remain under a covered surface!) We have now moved into our new house and I have these chairs sitting in my living room and LOVE how they look inside. Seriously, you just cant beat versatility!

I also spruced up the space with some decorative pillows, a few small accent tables and planters to make the space feel complete. Man, I never thought I would miss our rental, but I’m kinda missing our porch right now!
Next week I’ll be sharing the Fall version of my old porch. Make sure to come back to see how I transform the space yet again!!Disclosure: I was not financially compensated for this post.
