Mini Office Makeover

Last week I gave you guys a little sneak peek of my mini office design. Today I’m excited to show y’all the full reveal!

I decided to bring my desk into the den so I could be near the TV and kitchen. I love how open the space feels now that I have my desk area completed.

The desk is from Ikea and the chair is from Wayfair.com.  Most of the other items are from places like HomeGoods, Marshall’s and Ross.

Aren’t those gold leaf prints so beautiful?? I found those show-stoppers at HomeGoods for a little less than $30 each. I’m also obsessed with my table lamp and teal accent pillow. Those were found at Ross.

Another favorite art piece of mine is that colorful Peony print from Laura Dro Designs. An 8×10 is only $25! I already had the frame (I think from Michael’s at %50 off), so it worked out perfectly.

So what do you guys think? Are y’all digging the bold colors??

  1. You really pulled this look together! I love the mix of textures! Do you find it’s hard to keep your desk organized without drawers to tuck messy items away? I love the clean look of open desks but I fear I’m too much of a pack rat to really get use out of them.

  2. Love your blog. Especially right now as I’m choosing colours for my new home!!

I’m juat wondering what colour your office is?

Also, in your parents home, you have the kitchen and den colours listed but what about a hallway colour to help everything flow?

    Thank you for your help!!

    1. Hi Brandie – thank you so much! I actually don’t know my home office wall color as it was already painted that color when I moved in. I’m also not sure about my parent’s hall color either. I’m so sorry I’m not much help!!
