I cannot believe we’re already in the month of JUNE. I feel like last summer JUST happened! We’re about a month or so away from moving into our new-to-us home, but before we leave our loft, I couldn’t help but share with you guys our kitchen.

Our loft kitchen isn’t 100% my style, (because as you all know, I’m obsessed with the coastal look) but I was able to add my own touch by incorporating some simple decor items.

I started by adding a pop of color. I’ve really been loving navy lately, so I chose a few navy pieces like this runner to use under my sink, these nautical octopus plates and some striped kitchen towels to hang from my oven.

I also wanted to incorporate some natural elements like marble and copper. By layering this marble cutting board with these hammered copper salt and pepper shakers, I was able to break up a lot of this dark black granite countertop that can sometimes be overwhelming when used in such a small space.
