With warm weather comes a new back porch and loads of outdoor projects! I recently teamed up with Wayfair.com and Porch.com to bring you guys a mini gardening space makeover and I cannot wait to show you all the outcome.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been working my tail off to check off a number of items from my to-do list. I painted my back porch white (thanks to this lovely gadget), painted the ceiling a calming blue, painted this adorable potting bench (which I will post about soon!) and grew myself a little garden to kick off the new season. Here is my design board if you’re wanting to get the look yourself.
Get The Look:
I’m sure by now you all know how obsessed I am with Wayfair.com (as seen in many of my posts here, here and here ) but Porch.com might be new for some of you guys. If you haven’t heard of them, they are a home network that hooks you up with local professionals to get things checked off your to-do list, just like I did today! I’m more of a DIYer myself, but for those of you who might need to hire a pro, Porch.com is a great place to start!
And just to give Wayfair some much needed love (because we all know I’m slightly obsessed), they are an online home decor website with (as they say) “a zillion things home.” They have style AND affordability, which is my kind of store.
They are also hosting an Instagram contest this month encouraging their Instagram fans to post photos of their gardening projects with the hashtag #greenthumbchallenge for the chance to win a Wayfair gift card and free landscaping services from Porch.com. Pretty cool, huh? I would suggest following Porch.com (here) and Wayfair.com (here) if you’re wanting to get in on the action.
Ok now moving on to my makeover. Enjoy!
As you can see, I arranged my potting bench with an array of spring flowers, but my actual focus for this project was to learn how to plant and maintain succulents and cacti. I even created a mini beginners guide for you guys to download. To see my full post on maintaining succulents, click here.

And just for fun, lets give another look at the finished product:
What do you guys think? Are you geared up for spring?Disclosure: This is a sponsored post in collaboration with Wayfair.com and Porch.com. All opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
