So I’m sure over the past few weeks, you’ve noticed some sneak peeks of my gallery wall in my dining room. I Instagramed my printouts a few months ago and I finally got around to photographing the actual finished wall.
All the pieces you see in the gallery were created from old frames and supplies I had lying around the house. Since I already had an accumulation of leftover frames from our previous (much larger) home, I thought it would have been silly to go buy more frames. So instead of buying new artwork, I took out the old photos and replaced them with new art I created myself!
The graphic pieces were designs I created on my computer (in my fancy graphic design programs, Photoshop to be exact) and simply printed them out on my home printer.
Here is the before and after of the wall:
This was a wall I left blank for many months. Normally I’m a very impatient designer and want everything to be DONE like yesterday. But I’m trying to learn the art of patience, so I waited. And I waited. And I waited until I figured out what I wanted to do with the wall. I’m SO happy I waited because I really love how it all turned out!
If you like the “You will forever be my always” graphic, you’re in luck! Today you are able to download it for free! To download the free printable, click HERE.
Ok now time for some more pretty pictures!
I wasn’t quite sure how I wanted the frames arranged on the wall, so I laid them out on the floor to test out a few different options. Once I came up with my favorite arrangement, I began hanging them on the wall.
You might have seen a little sneak peek of my gallery wall last week when I posted about my latest DIY project. If you haven’t seen the full tutorial for my DIY “cover up” drum pendant, make sure to check it out HERE!
