Excited to be back again with another Design Worth Doing episode! Today I’m talking all about how to create a DIY succulent garden that will survive those hot Summer months. Typically, I tend to avoid any sort of gardening during the intense Texas heat, but succulents are low maintenance and will survive our hot Summer. I also paired my succulents with some colorful cacti to give the arrangement some diversity. Cacti are also extremely low maintenance and are the perfect pair for my succulent garden.

If you’re wondering, I found my tin planters at Garden Ridge, but I’m sure you can find similar pieces at places like HomeGoods, Marshall’s, Ross, etc. The soil I used was just some standard potting soil and the succulents and cacti can be found at Home Depot, Lowes or even Central Market.
