A few weeks ago I posted about my rustic Christmas tablescape and you got a little sneak peek of my place card holders. Today I want to share with you all how I made them!

They are rather simple to make actually. I found all of my supplies at Target and used a Sharpie to write the names on the place cards (found in the scrapbook isle). The place card holders are clothespins that I decorated using washi tape and a sharpie. I wish I had more of a tutorial for y’all, but this project was so easy theres not much else to explain!

  1. Did you take a calligraphy class? I’ve been working on writing in this style but have a hard time just deciding what I’d like each letter to look like. I love these place card holders by the way. So simple with a tiny bit of color.

  2. These are really cute! I just bought clothes pins and washi tape to make clips for packages. Now here is another idea for them. Thanks!

  3. Ohhhh I love this idea! I have been searching for place card ideas for my wedding and I think I could make something cute with clothespins! Inexpensively, too 😉 Thanks for the inspiration!!

Oh I’m glad this is helpful!! You can even find the clothes pins at your local $1 store which would be perfect for buying in mass quantities:):)
