Ok so they might not be BFF’s JUST yet, but things are getting so much better! If you follow me on Instagram, you might have been following along with our newly adopted kitten we now call Bella. My friend found some kittens in her back yard a few weeks ago with no mom to be found. After my friend fed them for a number of weeks (and me visiting them with every chance I had), I decided to take one of them home to test out with Bailey. Things have been interesting around here (there’s a new story every day) but they are slowly but surely becoming buddies.
We’ve only had her in our home for a week, so I’m hoping things will continue to progress. If Bailey really does find a new best friend in Bella, we will for sure keep her. Until then, we are still testing her out:)
Bella is such a cutie and I really hope we are able to keep her!
She is going to be a long haired calico, so I’m hoping I won’t be allergic to her. Bailey was our little miracle kitten when we adopted her 2 years ago. I’m allergic to most animals, so I just never really know what animal I will be allergic to until I test it out for a few days/weeks (or in some case a few minutes). I haven’t noticed too many allergies with Bella, so things are looking good!
And yes, although this picture looks super adorable and heartwarming, there was totally some hissing involved afterward! It’s ok though, I’m just proud of Bailey for letting Bella join her on HER birdwatching ledge;)
In a few weeks I plan on posting about how I introduced them and the process I followed. More to come!
