Last night we celebrated Christmas early with the Walton side of the family. Christmas is always such a happy time because we have so many little kids in the family and seeing their excitement is just so sweet. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw some of my goodies I received last night. You also might have seen Bailey’s stocking amongst all of the actual grandkids. Ah, it’s the little things in life that make me happy:)

Anyways! As much as we loved our Christmas gifts, we also received another very special gift last night; a Nativity set from Graham’s grandmother. She passed away a few years ago, so anything we can keep in the family is so special. She left so many wonderful items for us to enjoy; one of them being an entire collection of Nativity sets she had collected over the years (some she had even made herself). After all of the daughter-n-laws drew numbers, we all had a choice of which set we would like to keep for ourself. I chose second, but somehow my sister-n-laws knew exactly which set I wanted before I even said anything. They know me too well! Each set was beautiful, but I of course had to pick the gold set. And I was really excited to find out this was also one of the sets she had made back in 1974. I can’t wait to pass this set down to my kids one day:)

Merry Christmas everyone!
