Lately I’ve been all about the live-edge trend. It’s been seen for the past few years and just isn’t going away any time soon. In fact, I think it’s getting even more popular as the years go by.

For my living room design, I was dedicated to finding a coffee table with that organic feel. I have a lot of graphic elements and clean lines in my living room, so mixing in an organic shape was a must. I searched Etsy for what seemed like forever, only to find SUPER expensive shops. I couldn’t afford a $1,400 coffee table. Who can??

I finally stumbled upon the Etsy shop, StocktonHeritage. They were actually reasonably priced.

What?? I hit gold.

Although all I was looking for was a coffee table, I quickly fell in love with many of the other items in his shop. So, if you’re like me and are loving the live-edge trend right now, you’re going to love this round up. Yupp. You’re welcome.

1. Mid-Century Modern Side Table Tree Stump

2. Entryway Bench

3. Rustic Industrial Coffee Table

4. Entryway Console Table

5. Sofa Table Console

6. White Ash Live Edge Shelves

And of course my absolute favorite piece is my very own coffee table that arrived a few weeks ago. I love how  each piece is unique since no two slabs are alike.

The owner, Bryce, and I messaged back and forth for about a week, deciding on which slab would work best for my living room. The slab I ultimately choose was about 23 inches (at its widest) by 56 inches (long) in “Ash.”

For the legs, I went with a matte black “hairpin” leg style. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this style, this is what they look like:

Bryce sent me many different slab options and also gave me a few different options for the legs. I’m SO happy with what we ended up choosing! If  you’re wanting to choose from some different types of wood, you can choose from these here: Ash, Elm, Oak, Walnut, Maple & Cherry (in a variety of finishes). You can even choose to leave the bark on the edges or have it taken off.  So many options!

It’s so cool to have a table that was custom made with this beautiful wood slab all the way from Minnesota. And even cooler that my table was less than half the price of all of the “big-box” stores out there and even most of the Etsy Shops I found.  If you’re loving this live-edge trend as much as I am, make sure to check out his Etsy Shop (here) or his beautiful instagram feed (here).

  1. You certainly did hit gold. I love Etsy for the ability to customize a piece and help a small business. Your coffee table turned out amazing! I also adore the floating shelves, they provide a similar feel to a wood mantel.
