A few weeks ago I posted about Wayfair’s Daily Sales campaign and briefly mentioned my amazing new rug. Today I wanted to give you a sneak peek of the rug in my space and get into a little more detail when it comes to the specifics of the rug. I ordered the Surya Frontier Oatmeal & White Rug. The “white” is more of an off white, which is just what I wanted! The picture on their website really does represent what it looks like in person. It’s a Dhurrie rug, which means it’s flat woven and made of wool. It’s exactly what I needed because we have carpet in our home, so I didn’t want anything with too much texture that would compete with our carpet. This rug is handmade and comes in a number of sizes. I ordered a 5×8 for my office, but it also comes in 2’x3′, 3’6″…

Alrighty now let’s see what my lovely co-hosts have been up to this week!

So I finally found an indoor plant that isn’t deadly to cats. Yippee!! I have always loved Orchids, but after my scare with Lilli’s a few months ago (Lilli’s are deadly to cats if ingested), I didn’t want to bring in any more flowers because I was worried about them being poisonous to cats. Thankfully after some google research, I found out Orchids are safe! Now that I’ve found a safe plant for my kitties, I see myself filling my home with Orchids! The only downside to Orchids are those tacky stem clips. The flowers are SO stunning, but I’ve always been bothered by those dang clips! I know they have to be there to hold the stem up, but that doesn’t mean they have to be ugly!
