It’s been about a year since I last talked about our lovely little front porch. Over a years time, my porch needed a little bit of a refresh. My rug became pretty nasty and my porch needed more color and life. I switched out my rug and added tons of succulents and potted plants. With some new turquoise pillows from Target, I feel like my porch is finally done! And just to get y’all excited, I will be posting some videos of my DIY wreath you see along with my succulent arrangements as well! Lately I’ve been finding myself visiting Starbucks a little TOO much! I haven’t been in the mood for normal coffee, so I’ve been venturing over to Starbucks and spending about $4 (if not more) per cup of coffee… I seriously hate spending that kind of cash of coffee, but I just love my yummy lattes and frappuccinos! It’s so hard to resist them! The other day I decided I was going to avoid the ever so tempting Starbucks and attempt to make my own version instead. I mean, imitation is the highest form of flattery, right? Ok, so since I didn’t really know what I was doing, I kind of just mixed a bunch of things together that sounded like it would make a good drink. And guess what?? IT DID! woop woop! I started off with a cup of coffee. Duh. Then I added my cup of milk. Because, yes,…

Welcome back to the third month of the Summer Style Sioree. Today’s post is all about taking inspiration from the amazing Princess Diana. She was not only a beauty, but she was also someone of knowledge and class. I decided today we would focus on some of her inspirational words in the form of some PDF printables. I have chosen 3 of my favorite Princess Di quotes for you guys today. Each quote can be downloaded in a PDF format for an 8.5×11 sheet of paper. These will also fit a 8×10 frame if you’re looking to use them as wall art. Alrighty now let’s see what my lovely co-hosts have been up to this week!

Almost every time I shop at Target, I find crazy good deals in their clearance sections. If you shop the end caps, they tend to place most of their clearance items there. While grocery shopping last weekend, I found one of their color block jugs I had been eyeing for quite some time. It was on clearance for $7 and I just couldn’t pass it up! I wasn’t sure how I was going to use it, but I thought it would come to me as soon as I brought it home. Sure enough, as soon as I walked through the door, I spotted one of my little grass arrangements sitting oh so lonely. It was a bit scrawny and I knew the jug was a perfect way to bulk it up. I simply placed the grass arrangement into the jug and was done! The space feels much more balanced with the…

In my household, it’s rare for me to NOT have a candle burning. I love not only the yummy smells they give off, but also the serene and homey ambiance as well. There is just something about a candle burning that makes a house feel like a home. Unfortunately that means I am ALWAYS buying candles and burning them until they are completely dry. It’s an expensive habit, yes, but thankfully I’ve found a way to at least re-use their glass containers! Some of my favorite candles are from Bath and Body Works, and recently they started carrying some sea glass candles. They come in all sorts of beachy colors and I just haven’t been able to resist! I especially love how beautiful they look as containers as well. Another favorite of mine is the Aspen Bay candles. They are super pricey, but their containers are SO beautiful. Their scent…

Alrighty now let’s see what my lovely co-hosts have been up to this week!

Last week I posted about my new Wayfair.com rug (which I LOVE) and today I’m here to reveal my most recent office reveal. A few months ago I purchased some curtains from Home Goods, and since then I’ve been adding a few updates here and there. I DIYed a deer head above my office table and also DIYed my new office desk lamp. I love how complete this room finally feels compared to a year ago. I think the biggest differences are the curtains and the rug. What do you think? Linking Up With: Elizabeth & Co. // Thrifty Thursday // Inspire Me Please
