Do you ever randomly get the sudden urge to clean out your entire house from top to bottom?? Well, that’s exactly what happened to me this week! I got the Spring cleaning bug and by the end of it I had a clean house and 2 garbage bags filled with items to head off to Goodwill.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who caught the cleaning bug, so today I thought it would be fun to get inspired by some fabulously organized pantries. The hubs and I don’t actually have a pantry in our kitchen (just a few cabinets) so I was basically drooling over all of the stunning pantries I found across the lovely inter web. Like seriously. I’m totally pinning these for future home ideas!

  1. I am in the same “no-pantry” boat and am totally jealous of all of those photos. A walk in pantry is like the equivalent of a walk-in closet to me. 🙂 The spring cleaning spree must be going around – I was up until 1:00 organizing my closet, haha.

  2. Thank for the pictures! I just love pantries. The house I bought had a long skinny hallway behind the kitchen with closet doors all along one side. My husband took out the doors and the wall the doors were in and made it into a room with cabinets and shelves. I love my new pantry more than my kitchen and we made a room where there was none. I have it decorated with jars of home canned food and vintage Pyrex.

  4. Oh how wonderful but I live in a nutshell. How to find space my constant dilemma.
Any suggestions to improve a very small kitchen space particularly storage at present every time I open a cupboard contents. Escape!

I live in a loft right now, so Im in the same boat! I love the shelves that you can buy for your pantry that allow you to stack things like glasses and bowls, rather than have all of that wasted vertical cabinet space above. I also try to go to the store more often (so I have less stuff to store) rather than making big trips. You can also purchase some cute baskets to place above your cabinets (if you have space above your cabinets) and store items in there that you don’t use often.

  5. Another important point …pantries need to be colder than the kitchen for storing big 10 kg bag of potatoes, veg etc so they need to be on the north side of the house otherwise they are a bit pointless.
I bought a ten year old kitchen online for 350 euro and I am refitting it into my pantry. I will have cupboard doors to keep away dust and a stand up freezer with drawers so I can order meat online.
I will also store extra plates and casserole dishes that I don’t use on a day to day basis. These pantries look good but are a bit impractical.

    • I don’t think you should have your fridge/ freezer in your pantry, as it is a heat source.
